Food Talk & Love

H is coming to visit tonight! Weeee!!!

As a result, I've been doing laundry, washing up, cleaning the room and the bathroom and pondering what kind of food I should buy. It's weird when you're living on your own, you develop certain habits, both food-related ones and other ones... Like I usually watch Sex and the City while eating dinner. And I have certain dishes I make which I can eat several times a week, without getting tired of them. These include pasta with home-made tomato sauce, baked potato slices with garlic and oregano and pancakes made from scratch.

Naturally, I want to impress H in the kitchen, however when you're a student you have a budget which sort of sets limits to both creativity and fancyness. So I'm making pasta bolognese on Friday, burritos on Saturday and on Sunday we're ordering pizza. Nothing like a good plan!

Today I'm going to the gym with V in my class, first spinning and then this group thing with weights and stuff. Funny, you'd think the lifting weights-class would attract a lot of guys, but we're exclusively girls. It's good exercise, anyway! Then later tonight there's the weekly pubquiz, our team is doing good, last time we managed 9th place!

H's train arrives at around 9.30 pm, he's taking a cab up here, I just cannot wait to see him! We haven't seen eachother in three weeks, and that is of course way to long. But in just two weeks I'm going to visit him in Trondheim, and then I have a week off which I'll be spending partly there and partly in Oslo. And it all concludes with my birthday on the 12th.

And then, folks, I am officially an adult.
