I Have 25 Red Envelopes On My Desk

The weather is beautiful here in Kristiansand today. Oddly enough it makes me miss Oslo badly, Oslo is always so incredibly beautiful when the sun shines.

I got paid today, that feels good, I hate that feeling of not having any money. Unfortunately, I think it's one of the most common feelings a student has! I need to be careful with this money though, because it has to cover Christmas presents in addition to all those other monthly expenses. These last few days I've been living the typical student life: Eating crackers and leftovers and drinking water for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The contents of the fridge is also typical for a student fridge: empty. There's some salad in there and some cream cheese. Yummy!

I keep waiting for snow, I can't believe I haven't seen any snow yet this winter. It's soon December! Without snow it isn't really winter. Maybe I should move to Svalbard.

I've been meaning to go work out for three weeks now, but I've totally lost the motivation I had earlier. I know it's good for me and I know it's much better than sitting around here, but I just can't be bothered. Urhg.

H is coming to visit me tomorrow, and I can't wait! And soon it'll be Christmas and we can be together all the time :) Yay!

We had our six month-anniversary yesterday, I can't believe it's been that long already (of course, six months isn't really a very long time, but when we started dating I was sure it wouldn't last because of the distance. Now I know we can do it!)!

I need a new pair of jeans, I was thinking maybe a skinny pair, I don't have any really skinny jeans. The question is: Will they look good on me? We'll see. I think I might be to hippy. The new denim line from H&M has a lot of nice styles, and it suits my oh-so-student-y economy.

I'm reading Sense and Sensibility, and it's quite good. I hadn't read any Jane Austen before, but I'm pleasantly surprised!

My contacts need to be picked up, I've got to buy some milk so I have something other than water to drink, and I think I'll treat myself to a cappucino. I made 5,200 NOK last month (about $830)! Working again is okay :)

I wish I had some pictures, but I don't. I've been really lazy with the whole picture-taking business lately. Sorry!
