Kamikaze Love
Guess what I bought?
Yup, that's right!
(I happily accept better name suggestions, I'm just not that creative!) Aren't they adorable? I bought them on a whim today, and although I know you're not supposed to buy pets on a whim, I've thought a lot about buying some small animal to keep me company, so far away from my boyfriend and my family as I am. They were cheap too, scarily cheap. I got one of them, plus cage, food, that stuff you have on the bottom of the cage, water dish and a "nest" for them for the grand prize of NOK 200. That's probably $30. I have scarves more expensive than that. Who doesn't? So anyway, now I am a mice owner. Any tips? They seem very scared of me now (I can understand that, I'm probably 1000 times larger than them), but hopefully they'll warm up to me soon. I keep trying to pet them, and they keep shrieking and running (or kamikaze-jumping) away from me. Not the greatest of signs I guess? We'll see how we get along. The idea is that H will take care of them while I'm in England next year, so they're sort of our mice. We have our very own Kamikaze Mice! I tell you, it's romance all the way.
