Sucked In By Lipton

I'm sitting at my desk drinking Peach Mango tea. This is just such a stellar example of how I get sucked right into buying something if it comes in a pretty packaging. Just look:

Doesn't it just scream (or, alternatively, seducingly whisper): Buy me! Buy me! I'm delicious!

I don't even like tea.

I've figured out what to get Mom for her birthday: a photo book with pictures of TheCat! I've almost finished selecting the pictures I want in it and putting them in the right places, so I feel like I'm definitely on schedule with regards to her birthday.

It's May 20, after all.

Remember the birthday brownies I made? I used a recipe which claimed to be the one they use at City Bakery in New York(watch out for the sound effects if you click that link!). Now, according to Carrie in Sex and the City, they won some sort of prize for Best Brownie in the City or something, so I figured: Let's have a go!

They were yummy. Yum-yum-yummy-yum-yum.
