"The £10,000 Question(s)"

I've arrived in the UK now, settling in amongst all the stuff that's going on, and I only have a few questions:

Why do you drive with the headlights off (I won't even start on the classic side-of-the-road thing)?

Why do you have to deep-fry everything?

Why is the pound suddenly so expensive for me?

Why don't we have TopShop in Norway (I've been here two days and have already spent too much money on clothes)?

Why are you so afraid to live in a room that's actually warm and cosy?

And why oh why is there PLASTIC on my mattress?

Is there really a need for such dramatic measures?

I think I'll just call this entry "The £10,000 Question"
