The Last Line Sums Up Everything That's On My Mind Right Now

Mom visited me over the weekend, that was really nice. We talked a lot about next year, when I'll be in England, because I know I'll be scared and homesick and H has already started talking about how much he's dreading me leaving, and that's just not helping at all. So I told Mom to stay positive and try and look at it not as sending me away but letting me experience something exciting.

I have to tell myself shit like that to not be scared to death, you see.

We did a lot of shopping, and yesterday we drove to Lindesnes, which is the southernmost tip of Norway. We made a fire and ate cookies and it was all good. I forgot the camera (shame), but I have decided to buy a new one, and (a little surprisingly) Mom supports the idea and thinks I should definitely do it. So yay!

Norway did terribly in the Olympics, at least compared to how we usually do. And it was so stupid, becaused it had been hyped up so much in front, all over TV and the newspapers, and then everybody is supposedly "sick" or "exercised too hard"... Idiotic. Why just not say it? There are better winter sports athletes than the Norwegian ones out there. Get over it.

On Wednesday I'm going to visit H in Trondheim, that'll be great. Hopefully the train won't be cancelled, we've had a lot of that lately due to heavy snowfalls.

I'm going to be 20! Help!
